Remote Staff Software Engineer (Mobile)

Description:

• Kueski is seeking a Staff Software Engineer specializing in Mobile development to contribute to the improvement of financial services in Mexico.
• The role involves shaping and executing the Mobile technology strategy within Kueski, guiding the team technically, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to influence decision-making.
• Responsibilities include mentoring junior engineers, leading initiatives for proactive solutions, and ensuring the team remains focused on project objectives.
• The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience, with at least 9+ years of experience in mobile development.
• Expertise in defining architectures, setting up CI/CD pipelines, and implementing A/B testing for mobile apps is required.
• Key areas of expertise include building iOS apps from scratch, implementing deeplinks, feature flags, design systems, logging, hardware management, offline management, navigation strategy, performance enhancement techniques, and architectural patterns.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 9+ years of experience as a software engineer with a strong technical background in mobile development.
• Familiarity with simulators, test case definition, monitoring tools, troubleshooting API issues, and setting up CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to define architectures, implement A/B testing, and optimize app performance and scalability.
• Experience with modular mobile applications, Google Play/App Store deployment, and working with Flutter/Dart packages (nice to have).
