Description:

The engineering team is cross-functional and focused on solving a variety of engineering challenges, with a strong emphasis on ownership and project management from inception to production.
The role involves influencing and implementing the next generation of Ramp's database and infrastructure, working with cloud-native technologies, and participating in an on-call rotation for critical production events.
Requirements:
A minimum of 4 years of experience in shipping high-quality architectures for critical systems is preferred.
Experience with modern observability solutions using industry tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana, or architecting custom in-house observability systems in complex, high-throughput environments.
Production experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is required.
The ability to understand customer requirements and devise high-impact solutions to their problems is essential.
Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code deployment, specifically using Terraform, is necessary.
Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language is required.
Deep experience in either real-time queue systems (e.g., Kafka, Celery, SQS, Temporal) or container orchestration/web server administration (ECS/Kubernetes, Load Balancing, Gunicorn, Flask) is needed.
