Description:
The Staff Software Engineer will join the Partnerships Core engineering team to build out the Partnerships platform focusing on standard integrations for Payers, PCPs, and Health Systems.
This role involves designing and building scalable systems that provide data and services within Rula and across partners.
The engineer will ensure the Partnerships platform remains reliable, maintainable, and ready for future growth.
As a technical leader, the engineer will drive architectural decisions, mentor team members, and shape the systems that enable Rula to deliver mental health care to partners’ members.
The engineering team is dedicated to revolutionizing mental healthcare with comprehensive Provider and Patient Portals and transitioning to a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
The team is navigating challenges in an event-driven architecture to protect sensitive data and is introducing technologies like GraphQL, a Centralized Component Library, and an Authorization Service.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or comparable work experience is required.
Candidates must have 7+ years of professional engineering experience.
Demonstrated experience in providing technical leadership and mentorship is essential.
Experience in delivering highly scalable, reliable, available, and performant systems is required.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with partners and stakeholders are necessary.
Candidates should have demonstrated experience in modern applications design architecture, good API design patterns, security, performance, and scaling.
Preferred qualifications include experience at early or growth-stage companies, leveraging data to inform decisions, and familiarity with AWS or equivalent platforms.
Experience with NodeJs, Typescript, and Kafka is also preferred.
