Description:

  • The Payments team at One is working on a new product to facilitate contactless payments and digital wallet usage at a major retailer in the US.
  • Software Engineers at One are expected to be highly technical, communicative, and emotionally intelligent.
  • Responsibilities include building a top-notch product across the full stack (App/Web/Backend) and scaling it for large payment use cases.
  • Collaboration with other engineers is essential for code shipping and problem-solving.
  • Documentation creation and maintenance are crucial for success in a growing and remote organization.
  • Engineers will tackle complex problems related to real-world money movement and sensitive financial data.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of professional experience in building, shipping, and growing non-trivial products and services.
  • Familiarity with message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ, and caching solutions.
  • Proficiency in AWS infrastructure, including setting up Lambdas and creating DynamoDBs.
  • Experience working with high volume and highly available systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership, mentorship skills, and a track record of executing tasks with minimal oversight.
  • Passion for the craft, care for colleagues, and a focus on quality in code, communication, and culture.
  • Willingness to continuously improve skills and learn quickly.
  • Must embody the Triple H Factor: Hungry, Humble, Honest.
