Remote Staff Software Engineer, Perception

Description:

• AeroVect is a Series A company focused on transforming ground handling with autonomy for airlines and ground service providers.
• The Staff Software Engineer, Perception will deploy 3D object detection models using multi-modal approaches such as camera, LiDAR, and radar.
• This role involves building and maintaining a robust data collection and evaluation pipeline to assess metrics.
• The engineer will also develop a proprietary dataset for model training and evaluation.
• Additionally, the position requires training and evaluating state-of-the-art models.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Deep Learning, or a related field is required.
• Candidates must have 5+ years of focused experience in deploying 2D/3D object detection models.
• Proficiency in Python is necessary for this role.
• The ability to lead projects and teams autonomously is essential.
