Description:

  • The Staff Software Engineer will be responsible for optimizing AWS infrastructure for scalability and reducing developer overhead.
  • They will develop scalable software solutions using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, with knowledge of Node.js, React, and Next.js being a plus.
  • The role involves converting custom libraries into reusable packages for NPM and PIP.
  • The engineer will develop reliable GitHub Actions for automation and maintain workflows for efficient iteration of Lambda Step Functions and ECS tasks.
  • Implementing strategies to segregate client data while minimizing stack complexity is a key responsibility.
  • Collaboration with security and development teams to ensure a secure CI/CD pipeline using AWS CDK is essential.
  • Continuous learning and staying updated on the latest tools and best practices for a fast and secure SDLC are also part of the role.

Requirements:

  • 12-15+ years of full-stack development experience with a focus on backend and cloud-based solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of platforms, data movement, API design, and best practices for development and operations.
  • Expertise in Python, experience with Node.js for AWS Lambda functions, and proficiency in AWS services like Lambda, DynamoDB, Amplify, Cognito, Step Functions, and CDK.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT processes, tools like Airflow and dbt, database technologies (Postgres, DynamoDB), and familiarity with Snowflake.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Passion for optimizing processes and frameworks.
