Description:

  • StackAdapt is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join their backend engineering team focused on enhancing their Programmatic bidding offering.
  • The role involves architecting scalable low-latency backend systems and data pipelines, as well as providing technical leadership in designing scalable solutions and best practices.
  • The Staff Software Engineer will write code as needed to support the team, make a positive impact on productivity and growth, and promote software development best practices.
  • Responsibilities also include conducting rigorous code reviews and identifying/solving technical challenges.
  • The technologies used at StackAdapt include Go, Ruby on Rails, Aerospike, Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka, RocksDB, Redshift, ScyllaDB, GraphQL, and others.
  • The position is open to candidates located anywhere in North America as StackAdapt is a Remote First company.

Requirements:

  • Adtech experience or Martech experience is an asset.
  • A proven track record of building scalable pipelines and services is required.
  • Experience working with large data in low-latency environments is necessary.
  • Candidates should have at least 5 years of software development experience in distributed systems, architecting scalable microservices, and data pipelines in a successful high-growth technology company.
  • A strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms is essential.
  • Up-to-date knowledge and experience in the latest technologies, tools, and frameworks are expected.
  • Experience with Go and high-performance databases is a plus.
