Description:
StackAdapt is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join their backend engineering team focused on enhancing their Programmatic bidding offering.
The role involves architecting scalable low-latency backend systems and data pipelines, as well as providing technical leadership in designing scalable solutions and best practices.
The Staff Software Engineer will write code as needed to support the team, make a positive impact on productivity and growth, and promote software development best practices.
Responsibilities also include conducting rigorous code reviews and identifying/solving technical challenges.
The technologies used at StackAdapt include Go, Ruby on Rails, Aerospike, Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka, RocksDB, Redshift, ScyllaDB, GraphQL, and others.
The position is open to candidates located anywhere in North America as StackAdapt is a Remote First company.
Requirements:
Adtech experience or Martech experience is an asset.
A proven track record of building scalable pipelines and services is required.
Experience working with large data in low-latency environments is necessary.
Candidates should have at least 5 years of software development experience in distributed systems, architecting scalable microservices, and data pipelines in a successful high-growth technology company.
A strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms is essential.
Up-to-date knowledge and experience in the latest technologies, tools, and frameworks are expected.
Experience with Go and high-performance databases is a plus.
