Remote Staff Software Engineer - Programmatic Bidding Services at StackAdapt

Description:

StackAdapt is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join their backend engineering team focused on enhancing their Programmatic bidding offering.
The role involves architecting scalable low-latency backend systems and data pipelines, writing code as needed, providing technical leadership, and promoting software development best practices.
The successful candidate will work on a real-time advertising bidding system that handles over 3,000,000 requests per second and stores terabytes of data daily.
Technologies used include Go, Ruby on Rails, Aerospike, Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka, RocksDB, Redshift, ScyllaDB, GraphQL, among others.
The position is open to candidates located anywhere in North America as StackAdapt is a Remote First company.

Adtech experience or Martech experience is an asset.
Proven track record of building scalable pipelines and services.
Experience working with large data in low-latency environments.
Minimum 5 years of software development experience in distributed systems, architecting scalable microservices, and data pipelines in a successful high-growth technology company.
Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
Up to date knowledge and experience in the latest technologies, tools, and frameworks.
Experience with Go and high-performance databases is a plus.
