Description:

  • StackAdapt is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join their backend engineering team focused on enhancing their Programmatic bidding offering.
  • The role involves architecting scalable low-latency backend systems and data pipelines, writing code as needed, providing technical leadership, and promoting software development best practices.
  • The successful candidate will work on a real-time advertising bidding system that handles over 3,000,000 requests per second and stores terabytes of data daily.
  • Technologies used include Go, Ruby on Rails, Aerospike, Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka, RocksDB, Redshift, ScyllaDB, GraphQL, among others.
  • The position is open to candidates located anywhere in North America as StackAdapt is a Remote First company.

Requirements:

  • Adtech experience or Martech experience is an asset.
  • Proven track record of building scalable pipelines and services.
  • Experience working with large data in low-latency environments.
  • Minimum 5 years of software development experience in distributed systems, architecting scalable microservices, and data pipelines in a successful high-growth technology company.
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Up to date knowledge and experience in the latest technologies, tools, and frameworks.
  • Experience with Go and high-performance databases is a plus.
