Description:

  • Join Celonis, a global leader in Process Mining technology, to work as a Staff Software Engineer focusing on SRE & Software Engineering.
  • Responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based FedRAMP-compliant applications and platforms.
  • Handle application incident management escalations, troubleshoot technical problems, and resolve issues within defined service level objectives.
  • Develop software to enhance availability, scalability, and efficiency of services.
  • Collaborate with platform and application development teams to improve platform resiliency.
  • Share knowledge and implement SRE best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field like Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • Proficiency in Java, the Spring framework, and Python (or similar scripting language in Linux environment).
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in developing cloud-based software applications.
  • Advanced knowledge of public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud monitoring systems like Datadog.
  • Experience in developing and running large-scale production services with elastic cloud services and Kubernetes.
  • Project experience in the SRE domain.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Ability to teach and mentor others.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
