Buoy Software is collaborating with Join Parachute to establish small market donation centers across the country, creating local job opportunities and promoting blood product donations.
The Staff Software Engineer will be responsible for owning and developing product features from scoping to rollout.
The role requires solving complex technical problems and advocating for product quality, security, and performance improvements.
The engineer will mentor team members, define internal standards, and participate in the on-call rotation.
This is a fully remote position open to candidates based in the United States.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience building web applications end-to-end using a tech stack similar to Tailwind, React, Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, and Postgres, with Ruby on Rails being a requirement.
Applicants should be comfortable working on all parts of the stack, including frontend and backend.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
Candidates should have a desire to work autonomously while also collaborating with other engineers.
High empathy is essential, as the candidate should care about teammates and users.

The salary for this position ranges from $180,000 to $220,000 per year.
