As a member of Rula’s Scheduling team, you will shape the scheduling experience and empower high-quality care through technology.
The role involves working in a close-knit team within a fast-growing product environment.
As a Staff Engineer, you will contribute to Rula's product development and engage in meaningful technical discussions.
Scheduling is a key functionality that facilitates appointments between patients and providers, essential to Rula’s business.
Key capabilities include allowing providers to set their availability, managing appointments, and enabling patients to book appointments.
The team will manage Electronic Health Record System (EHR) interactions, ensuring Rula is the source of truth for scheduling data and increasing resilience.
Requirements:
You must have 8+ years of software engineering experience.
Experience working on cross-functional teams to bridge technical and non-technical groups is required.
You should have backend experience building modern database-backed (SQL/no-SQL) web applications.
Experience with microservice development is necessary.
You must have experience mentoring others, reviewing architectures, and establishing design patterns.
You should have experience driving all phases of the development lifecycle, including planning, execution, and post-launch maintenance.
Experience working on highly complex projects with a focus on sustainable results is required.
