Remote Staff Software Engineer - Scheduling (Remote)

Description:

• The Staff Software Engineer will be part of Rula's Scheduling team, focusing on shaping the scheduling experience to deliver high-quality care through technology.
• The role involves working across Rula's stack, contributing to product development, and driving technical conversations and decisions.
• The team will own Electronic Health Record System (EHR) interactions related to scheduling, making Rula the source of truth for data and increasing resilience.
• Key responsibilities include enabling appointments between patients and providers, managing appointments, and allowing providers to set availability.
• This is a backend leaning role within a close-knit team in a fast-growing product.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience in backend development of modern database-backed web applications.
• Proficiency in microservice development and mentoring others.
• Ability to drive all phases of the development lifecycle and work on complex projects.
• Experience working on cross-functional teams and reviewing architectures.
• Familiarity with establishing design patterns and achieving sustainable results.
