The Staff Software Engineer will be part of the Simulation Test Engineering team, responsible for implementing scalable testing pipelines for autonomous vehicle behavior development and validation.
The role involves delivering precise and reliable testing products using industry-leading autonomous vehicle simulation frameworks.
Responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional testing activities, leading the design and implementation of automated testing pipelines, and maintaining high technical standards for code quality.

Requirements:

A BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
Equivalent experience includes tech leadership in complex environments and driving technical design across multiple teams.
A minimum of 5 years of experience coding in Python and/or C++ is necessary.
At least 4 years of experience in test framework development, simulation test creation, or metrics analysis is required.
Familiarity with at least one column-oriented database or data warehouse, such as BigQuery or RedShift, is needed.
Experience with dashboarding systems like Looker, Tableau, or Kibana is preferred.
A proven track record of effective collaboration in a remote workplace is essential.
Strong communication skills and a passion for safe, fully-electric, self-driving technology are required.
An innate curiosity for solving testing problems and a mindset toward scaling and quality are important.
