Remote Staff Software Engineer - Staking

Description:

• BitGo is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the Staking team, responsible for developing robust and scalable systems to integrate new and existing blockchains for secure custody and staking of funds.
• The role involves providing technical leadership, setting long-term technical vision, and contributing to large initiatives across engineering teams.
• Responsibilities include designing and building APIs, libraries, and services for blockchain integration, developing integration libraries and SDKs, and collaborating with engineering teams and product managers.

Requirements:

• At least 8 years of back-end, server-side software development experience is required.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript/Node.JS and/or Kotlin, along with expertise in unit and functional testing and debugging.
• Ability to provide simple and extensible abstractions to complex systems, familiarity with Git/GitHub, code review tools, and CI tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline from a top university.
• Strong interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain, excellent algorithm design, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
