Remote Staff Software Engineer - Systems Security

• Fortanix is a leading company in data-centric cybersecurity for hybrid multicloud environments, utilizing advanced cryptography, encryption, and confidential AI solutions.
• The Staff Software Engineer (Systems Security) will be responsible for providing strategic direction and hands-on expertise in developing tools and SDKs for confidential computing platforms.
• Duties include being a subject matter expert on computer architecture & organization, supporting software development on Confidential Computing platforms, enabling remote attestation using low-level platform primitives, and designing high-quality software solutions.
• The role involves staying updated with emerging technologies in security, contributing to strategic planning, conducting code reviews, and driving the adoption of new tools and methodologies for development efficiency.

Requirements:

• 3 years of professional experience in computer architecture & operating systems.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with C/C++, Rust, and x86 or ARM assembly, and some other high-level language.
• PhD in Computer Security or Computer Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
