Remote Staff Software Java & Kotlin Engineer - Remote

Description:

• The Staff Software Java & Kotlin Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining APIs, services, and systems across Clari Engineering teams.
• They will collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Frontend Engineers, and other cross-functional partners to conceptualize and build new features for the user base.
• The role involves leading or contributing heavily to large cross-functional projects, debugging production issues, and mentoring junior engineers.
• The engineer will work on improving engineering standards, tooling, and processes to enhance the overall system.

Requirements:

• The candidate should have a strong technical background with over 10 years of experience in building impactful large-scale products or systems using Kotlin or a similar object-oriented language.
• They must possess a solid understanding of distributed systems, data stores, data modeling, indexing, and associated trade-offs.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and working across engineering teams to drive technical architecture and design alignment is required.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to various stakeholders and experience in building observable systems are necessary.
