Description:

• The Solutions Engineering team at Grafana Labs is responsible for educating potential and existing customers to ensure their success and satisfaction.
• Solutions Engineers act as customer-facing product experts, sharing technical and product knowledge through demos, presentations, and ongoing interactions.
• They collaborate closely with the Sales team to qualify and close opportunities.
• The role involves listening to customer requirements, asking insightful questions, and translating those into solutions using Grafana Labs technology.
• Solutions Engineers serve as a bridge between customers, the Sales team, and the engineering teams at Grafana Labs.
• Responsibilities include articulating the Grafana value proposition, owning technical engagements, delivering product presentations, and providing feedback on products and the competitive landscape.
• The role also involves driving product conversations based on customer needs and enhancing documentation and enablement materials.

Requirements:

• Candidates should have 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, preferably with Open Source technologies or in the Metrics/Monitoring space.
• The role requires openness to complex assignments, strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• First-class written and oral communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with remote teams and worldwide customers.
• Candidates must be able to articulate the value proposition and technical advantages of Grafana products skillfully.
• A passion for solving technical challenges and a desire to provide creative solutions to customers is necessary.
• A technical mindset and a willingness to grow technically are important.
• Candidates must be located in Germany.
