Description:
Represent the needs of customers throughout the product and design lifecycle, including discovery, design validation, and customer adoption
Apply appropriate research techniques for specific project needs
Engage with customers to understand their product needs and define user types, use cases, and UX opportunities
Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to influence product strategy and roadmaps
Validate feature and design direction through various testing methods
Analyze and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to generate insights and recommendations
Communicate findings through user segments, persona frameworks, user journeys, and task analyses
Provide mentorship to team members and promote UX research discipline within the organization
Requirements:
BA/BS degree or higher in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, or related field
Extensive experience in customer-centered research for product definition and design
Proficiency in planning and executing research studies, including developing sample plans and data collection approaches
Portfolio showcasing research that led to valuable insights and experiences
7+ years of experience in customer-centered research (preferred)
Ability to develop insightful questions for technical and business end-users
Knowledge of user interface design, usability evaluation, task analysis, and experimental design
Experience with online surveys and qualitative research techniques
Strong presentation skills to convey complex topics to various stakeholders
Ability to quickly grasp new technical concepts
Experience coaching and mentoring junior team members
