As a Backend Staff/Lead Engineer, you will drive technical standards for the Backend across the consumer domain and work with multiple squads.
You will lead Backend engineers in tech roadmaps, architecture decisions, and feature development and release cycles.
Responsibilities include mentoring junior developers, conducting technical interviews, and scaling up Backend engineers in multiple squads.
You will design, build, and maintain features for domain applications, provide technical leadership, and manage dependencies.
You will participate in architecture and design discussions, improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.

Requirements:

You must have at least 10 years of experience in backend engineering with NodeJS.
A strong foundation in programming fundamentals is required.
Excellent communication skills are essential.
You should enjoy solving problems and helping others meet their goals.
Substantial experience with Git in a team environment is necessary.
Experience writing testable code and unit tests is required.
Experience in a fast-growing startup in the on-demand services space is a plus.
You should have deep knowledge of React and NodeJS, with experience developing products using these technologies.
Experience using modern JavaScript and tooling in a full-stack setting is required.
Extensive experience with A/B experiments and a data-driven attitude toward product development is necessary.
