The GCP Support Engineer will work within the MSP team to support Appsbroker CTS MSP customers across all Google Cloud Platform solutions.
This role involves managing tickets in line with contractual SLAs, maintaining knowledge materials, and managing support requests and incidents.
The engineer will collaborate with various teams to ensure a consistent MSP experience and identify improvement opportunities.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting customer GCP systems, following the Incident Management process, and deploying standard system changes.
The role requires proactive identification of monitoring needs and adherence to best practices for security patches and operating system releases.

Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Support & Operations environment in a 2nd line role, preferably in an ITIL environment.
Experience and knowledge regarding MSP framework and services, especially in a Cloud Environment.
Proficiency with Linux operating systems in Virtual Machine environments such as VMware/VSphere, KVM, and Xen.
Public Cloud engineering experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure is required.
Basic understanding of CI/CD processes and experience with Terraform, Terragrunt, Containers, Docker, and/or Kubernetes.
Required incident management experience and the ability to communicate directly with customers.
Confidence to work autonomously while aligning with team direction and managing multiple projects.
Excellent written and verbal English skills are essential.
