Remote System Administrator

Description:

• Kyivstar.Tech is seeking a new colleague for the position of System Administrator.
• The company is a hybrid IT firm and a resident of Diia.City, being a subsidiary of Kyivstar, one of the largest telecommunications operators in Ukraine.
• The mission of Kyivstar.Tech is to change lives in Ukraine and globally by creating technological solutions and products that meet the needs of users and companies.
• The team consists of over 500 specialists working in various fields, including mobile and web solutions, as well as the design, development, support, and maintenance of high-performance systems and services.
• The role involves providing system support, resolving issues and incidents to ensure stable system operation, coordinating actions with vendor technical support, and interacting with software developers for enhancements and new functionality.
• Responsibilities also include maintaining technical documentation, participating in testing, verification, and deployment of new and updated software and services, and monitoring and controlling the system.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a system administrator is required.
• Knowledge and experience with Windows Server 2012/2019 are essential.
• Familiarity with UNIX systems is necessary.
• Experience with SQL, MS SQL 2019, PostgreSQL, and Oracle is required.
• An intermediate level of English proficiency is needed.
