The position is for a System Administrator at 3Pillar, located in Noida, offering a full-time remote work opportunity.
The role involves managing systems and user accounts effectively.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting network, server, desktop, and printer issues at both L1 and L2 levels.
The candidate will be responsible for building and imaging computers across various operating systems, including Linux, Windows, and macOS.
Support for AV communications and collaboration systems is also part of the job.
The role requires managing software and hardware inventory and providing IT support for both company employees and clients.
The candidate will perform onboarding and offboarding tasks for company employees.
Ensuring the security of company systems and data is crucial, which involves adherence to company policies and collaboration with security personnel.
The candidate must create and maintain high-quality documentation of all relevant specifications, systems, and procedures, and escalate problems when necessary.
A good knowledge and hands-on experience in system administration responsibilities is required, with the ability to deploy, manage, identify, or solve issues of small and medium complexity.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge and experience with operating systems, specifically Windows 10 and Windows 11, are essential.
Experience with Windows Server 2019/2022 or Linux servers is required.
A good understanding of networking concepts, including routing, switching, communication protocols (TCP/UDP, DNS, HTTP, SMTP, LDAP), and network security (IDS/IPS, VPN, VLANs, etc.) is necessary.
The candidate must have experience in the installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of networks and computer systems (Unix/Linux, Microsoft).
Support and troubleshooting experience for office productivity tools such as Microsoft Office, G Suite, and the Atlassian stack is required.
Knowledge of Windows services (DNS, DHCP, AD, NPS) and AV communications/collaboration systems is important.
A good understanding of database theory, data backup, and recovery is necessary.
Knowledge of systems and network security concepts is required.
Excellent communication skills are mandatory for this position.
