Remote System Administrator (Internet Service Provider Background)

Description:

• Honest Networks, Inc. is looking for a skilled System Administrator with experience in internet service provider (ISP) environments to maintain and manage IT systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
• Responsibilities include installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software components, monitoring system performance, implementing security measures, developing documentation, collaborating with teams, and providing technical support.
• The position requires staying updated on emerging technologies and recommending upgrades to the IT infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience as a System Administrator, preferably in an ISP environment.
• Strong knowledge of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, and routing protocols.
• Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and virtualization environments.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Native or C2 level English proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and in a remote, team-oriented environment.
