Description:
SkyGrid, a Boeing, Avathon Company, is seeking a System and Software Validation and Verification Lead based in Austin, Texas.
The role involves owning the planning and execution for all aspects of systems validation, verification, and integration.
The ideal candidate should have experience with system/sub-system requirements management, integration, and testing within the aerospace industry.
Responsibilities include defining and documenting the system integration, validation, and verification strategy, overseeing execution activities, and developing validation and verification plans, procedures, and reports.
The candidate will also identify the test setup, instrumentation, and environment for black-box systems.
The position requires technical oversight for a team of engineers, developing program strategies, leading planning and execution of activities, and implementing testing methodologies.
Collaboration with external customers and participation in Critical Design Reviews and Test Readiness Reviews are also key responsibilities.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM degree is required.
The candidate must have 10+ years of experience in a highly technical, aerospace-related industry.
A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a technical team lead covering integration, validation, verification, and qualification of complex avionics or terrestrial systems is necessary.
Experience with SAE ARP 4754A or equivalent is required.
Relevant experience with the architectural aspects of a simulation environment is essential.
