Description:

The System Integration Engineer will be responsible for utilizing BigFix for efficient system management across diverse systems.
They will implement and maintain systems across Windows Server and Linux environments.
The engineer will manage VMware, Azure, AWS, and on-premise servers effectively.
Developing and maintaining scripts in Python and/or PowerShell for automation tasks will be a key responsibility.
Collaborating with teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
Participating in an on-call rotation schedule to address system issues outside regular hours.
Engaging with multiple teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of systems.
Identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements.
Proactively troubleshooting and resolving system faults and inefficiencies.
Prioritizing and completing assigned duties expeditiously and within approved windows.
Managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
Providing exceptional customer service by communicating clearly and accurately while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Extensive experience with BigFix and associated components (Relevance, Patch, Inventory, SWD) is essential.
Certification in BigFix is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux environments.
Experience with VMware, Azure, AWS, and on-premise server management.
Strong scripting skills in Python and/or PowerShell.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation schedule.
Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
