Description:
Sonalake, a software partnering company, is seeking a System Support Engineer to handle customer issues and proactively monitor systems using advanced troubleshooting techniques.
The role involves collaborating with development teams, maintaining maintenance schedules, tracking and escalating incidents, contributing to service improvement, and providing out-of-hours support.
Responsibilities also include coordinating with other teams, advocating for customer needs, and preparing troubleshooting guides.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in telecom or IT operations, knowledge of networking technologies, a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot in various OS environments.

Requirements:
2-3 years’ experience in a telecom or IT operations systems and cloud environment
Knowledge of networking technologies and protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, load balancers, proxies, and firewalls
Proactive approach to spotting problems and areas for improvement
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to troubleshoot in various OS environments including *nix, macOS, and Windows
Experience troubleshooting database connectivity issues using diagnostic tools
Customer focus and ownership mindset
Willingness to learn and adapt to the entire technology stack
