Description:

This position is for a MongoDB Database Support Engineer in a talent pool application, as there are currently no openings available.
The role involves providing professional technical support services for MongoDB, focusing on resolving complex problems for customers with demanding deployments and business needs.
The engineer will assist fellow support engineers, contribute to blogging and support content creation, collaborate with other departments, and positively impact product strategy.
Candidates should have excellent knowledge of both RDBMS and MongoDB, including configuration, schema design, performance tuning, query optimization, index tuning, backup solutions, replica set and sharding topologies, engine selection, and monitoring requirements.
Experience in administering Linux-based systems and knowledge of virtualized environments such as VMWare, Docker, and Kubernetes is required.
Familiarity with cloud providers like AWS, Google Cloud, Digital Ocean, and Azure is necessary.
The ability to troubleshoot methodically and creatively is essential, along with a willingness to expand skills with new technologies.
Availability for occasional travel for team meetings, conferences, and customer visits is expected.
Experience working with customers in English and completion of MongoDB University courses is required.

Requirements:
