Sauce is a premier restaurant technology platform that helps businesses grow with a Commission-Free Delivery & Pickup structure and proprietary delivery optimization technology.
The company serves a 105 billion dollar US local restaurant business and is headquartered in NYC and Tel-Aviv.
The team is looking for a Team Lead level frontend engineer to join their R&D team remotely, reporting directly to the VP of R&D.
Responsibilities include working with the CTO and other Tech Leaders to design and execute the product roadmap, developing new product features, supporting existing ones, mentoring developers, performing code reviews, and participating in frontend architecture and design decisions.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 7+ years of hands-on frontend development experience with React and TypeScript.
A minimum of 2 years experience with Next.js and Node.js frameworks on an e-commerce project is required.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience leading a team of frontend and backend developers.
Proven experience leading large scale B2C e-commerce projects with 100K+ daily user sessions is necessary.
High proficiency in HTML/CSS and JavaScript is essential.
A strong understanding of component-driven design and development is required.
Experience with frontend monitoring and performance measurement is expected.
Candidates must be team players with great communication skills and a passion for great designs, code quality, user experience, and performance.
Attention to detail and the ability to see the big picture are important.
Good writing and verbal skills in English are required.
Preferred but not required qualifications include experience with server-side rendering frameworks, WordPress installation and development, backend development (C# / Java), SEO, automated browser testing of web apps, real-time updating dashboards, and MongoDB.
