Description:
Keyfactor is seeking a Team Lead for Cloud Engineering to develop and implement the technical roadmap for federal solutions hosted in the cloud.
The role focuses on improving customer experience by ensuring platform and product availability, optimizing performance, and enforcing security measures according to NIST standards.
Responsibilities include overseeing systems for team training, building complex cloud-hosted solutions, troubleshooting system problems, securing hosted solutions, maintaining server upgrades, collaborating with architecture teams, and documenting systems and procedures.
The position is remote, and applicants must reside in the United States and be U.S. citizens.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience with architecture, design, configuration, and deployment within the Microsoft Azure platform.
Experience with federal contracts is a plus.
Applicants should be subject matter experts in automation tools like Bicep and Terraform, as well as configuration tools like DSC and Ansible.
Proficiency in Systems Administration, including Windows OS, Linux OS, IIS, and Active Directory, is required, with at least 4 years of experience.
Proficiency in PowerShell and experience managing code with Git or other repositories is necessary.
Candidates should be familiar with SIEM tools like Azure Sentinel and have a comprehensive understanding of Azure platform monitoring tools.
A deep understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and firewalls is essential.
Applicants must possess expert-level troubleshooting abilities and experience building and supporting Azure SQL Database.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work alongside organizational leaders are required.
Azure certifications are a plus.
