Sauce is looking for a passionate and experienced Mobile App Team Lead to lead the mobile team responsible for both Android and iOS applications, including initiatives with modern cross-platform frameworks.
The role involves driving the end-to-end mobile development process, ensuring reliability across various environments, and building user-centric, performant features for in-store tablet and mobile platforms.
The Mobile App Team Lead will manage a team of mobile engineers, own mobile app architecture and quality, guide the team through technical decision-making, and collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams to deliver features from concept to release.
Responsibilities include implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and app store deployment processes, as well as evaluating and integrating new technologies to support team productivity and app scalability.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 6+ years of experience in mobile development with both Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C) platforms.
Hands-on experience with cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter, React Native, or Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) is required.
Prior experience as a team lead or tech lead in mobile engineering teams, ideally in product-centric or startup environments, is essential.
A deep understanding of networking, mobile debugging, performance profiling, and troubleshooting real-world app issues is necessary.
Knowledge and usage of tools like Firebase, Sentry, Charles Proxy, Xcode Instruments, Android Profiler, and equivalent monitoring/logging systems are required.
A strong grasp of app architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture) and asynchronous programming (coroutines, Rx, Combine) is expected.
Experience with automated testing frameworks and continuous integration systems (e.g., Bitrise, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) is needed.
Clear communication skills, with the ability to write and speak effectively in English, are mandatory.
