Remote Team Lead Python Developer

Description:

• The position is for a Team Lead Python Developer at a start-up in the sports industry.
• The role involves developing and maintaining the backend of web applications using Python.
• Responsibilities include designing and implementing RESTful APIs, working with databases (SQL and NoSQL), optimizing application performance, and participating in the design of application architecture.
• The role also includes integrating third-party services and APIs, writing tests for high code quality, and participating in code reviews and collaborative development.
• Experience with applications involving routing, navigation, and mapping is required, and start-up experience is a plus.
• The candidate should have at least 2-3 years of experience in Python development, strong knowledge of Django and/or Flask frameworks, and experience with databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Other requirements include understanding of OOP principles, experience with version control systems like Git, and familiarity with REST principles and developing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Docker, writing automated tests, and basic understanding of DevOps practices are also needed.
• Pluses for the role include experience with cloud platforms, knowledge of microservice architecture, familiarity with CI/CD tools, and understanding of asynchronous programming principles.

Requirements:

• At least 2-3 years of experience in Python development
