The Team Lead of Software Development will lead a Scrum team responsible for designing, developing, and supporting an enterprise SaaS microservices architecture application platform.
The role requires technical expertise in ReactJS, Java Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL, along with leadership skills to mentor a high-performing team.
Responsibilities include energizing the team, conducting regular 1:1s, championing Agile methodologies, collaborating with Product Management, and managing resources to meet release goals.
The position involves making technical decisions, participating in hands-on development, collaborating with Systems/DevOps teams, and driving quality practices.
The candidate will lead the migration and modernization of legacy systems and resolve Tier-3 support issues.
The technical environment includes frontend technologies like ReactJS and Angular, backend technologies like Java Spring Boot and Scala, and cloud infrastructure such as AWS and Kubernetes.

Requirements:

A B.S. in Computer Science or a related Engineering field, or equivalent experience is required.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in a software product development environment is necessary.
Experience as a scrum master, project manager, manager, or team lead with a strong emphasis on Scrum and Kanban is essential.
Strong proficiency with Scala or Java and databases is required.
Full SDLC experience with enterprise-level software hosted in a cloud environment is necessary.
The candidate should have a proven track record in mentoring and coaching others.
Experience in troubleshooting large, complex web-based applications is required.
Familiarity with container-based environments and experience in a scale-up or start-up environment is preferred.
The candidate must possess outstanding communication skills and a drive for continuous learning and improvement.

The salary range for this full-time position is between $90,000 - $160,000.
