Description:
Cority is seeking a Team Lead Software Engineering to join their dynamic and collaborative team.
The role involves building and coaching engineering team members to excel in their roles and career paths.
The successful candidate will manage up to two teams, ensuring the efficiency and quality of team deliverables.
Responsibilities include managing agile processes, collaborating with Product Management to understand requirements, and owning functional areas or projects.
The candidate will help break down tasks into manageable stories and assist teams in architecting and designing implementations.
Training senior engineers to become subject matter experts in specific application areas is also a key responsibility.
Collaboration with other team leads and managers to develop cross-team solutions is essential.
Requirements:
A university degree in computer science or a related program is required.
Prior people management experience is preferred but not mandatory.
A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Software Engineer or in a related area with SaaS applications is necessary.
At least 5 years of experience with .NET Core, .NET Framework, Relational Database, Entity Framework, and Webservices or equivalent is required.
Candidates should have 5+ years of experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
Experience with Ruby on Rails and MySQL is considered a plus.
A strong understanding of the software development process and lifecycle is essential.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies is required.
The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment is necessary.
Strong time management and organizational skills are a must.
Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills are required.
