Description:
Saviynt is looking for an IAM Professional Services Engineer to architect, design, deploy, configure, and implement its leading Identity Governance (IGA) solution based on customer requirements.
The primary responsibility will be to deploy the Saviynt solution to meet customer requirements.
The role involves architecting and deploying the Saviynt Identity Governance solution, designing, deploying, implementing, and integrating Saviynt with critical applications and infrastructure.
The engineer will follow approved life cycle methodologies and create documentation for design and testing.
Interaction and coordination with customers to gather requirements, conduct technical workshop sessions, and provide weekly status updates are essential.
The position includes providing technical oversight and direction to mid-level and junior consultants.
The engineer will train and groom top talent to become experts in Saviynt technology and IAM in general.
Assistance to the operations team and coordination with the product engineering team will be required.
The role involves resolving technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
Technical pre-sales support for direct and partner sales teams is also part of the responsibilities.
The engineer will provide technical expertise and real-life experience in creating solutions, designs, proof of concept, and implementation.
Conducting research and using knowledge of competitive solutions to effectively address and dispel customer objections is expected.
Ensuring the delivery of high-quality products on time and within budget is a key responsibility.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering is required.
Candidates must have 6+ years of industry experience in design, development, customization, configuration, and deployment of any Identity Management and Governance products.
Thorough domain knowledge in areas of IAG such as User Lifecycle Management, Provisioning, Reconciliation, Auditing, Reporting, User Activity Monitoring, Access Certification, SOD, Password Management, and Cloud Security is necessary.
Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE and SQL is required.
Familiarity with Web Services (REST/SOAP), Directories, and Unix Shell/Perl scripting is essential.
Direct customer interaction and management skills are needed.
Experience with RFP responses and proposals is preferred.
Strong technical presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
Candidates must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and work independently while maintaining a positive attitude.
It is good to have knowledge of security/authorization models of popular enterprise and SaaS applications like SAP, Oracle EBS, Salesforce, and Box.
Knowledge of industry-standard protocols such as SAML and OpenID is also beneficial.
