Description:

Sword Health is seeking a Tech Lead to join their team in Portugal, working remotely.
The company aims to free two billion people from pain through its end-to-end platform for predicting, preventing, and treating pain.
The Tech Lead will lead a team, establish a technical vision, resolve technical disagreements, and ensure the success of delivered solutions.
Responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations, delegating tasks, setting deadlines and goals, and staying updated with web technologies and software architecture principles.
The role involves using engineering practices such as fully automated development pipelines and testing, and understanding software quality processes.
The Tech Lead will collaborate with the infrastructure team and other tech leads to improve software and infrastructure architecture.
Maintaining a productive working environment, participating in training, monitoring performance, and motivating the team are key aspects of the role.
The Tech Lead will also assist in the R&D process, motivation, and retention of new members alongside the HR team.

Requirements:

Candidates must have previous experience as a Tech Lead or possess natural leadership skills.
Extensive experience of over 5 years in web development is required.
Familiarity with the main tech stack, specifically Go and NodeJs, is essential.
A strong background in event/microservice architecture is necessary.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Portuguese and English are required.
Candidates should have great time management and organizational skills.
A proactive attitude, flexibility, problem-solving skills, and decision-making abilities are important.
A quality-oriented mindset ensuring good code practices is expected.
A people-oriented approach to build strong relationships and motivate the team is essential.
