The Tech Lead Engineer will define, design, and implement architectural decisions and strategies aligned with the long-term vision and roadmap.
This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to determine business-specific application needs and identifying opportunities.
The Tech Lead Engineer will document application development processes, procedures, and standards.
The position requires architecting solutions based on popular public cloud services, specifically AWS.
The individual will lead the design and prototype of key technologies or products.
Responsibilities include providing estimation and planning input for projects, offering leadership and mentorship to team members, and ensuring adherence to technical architecture standards.
The role also involves in-depth technical troubleshooting, defect investigation, and root-cause analysis.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 7+ years of professional software development experience building complex software systems successfully delivered to customers.
Excellent communication skills are required, with a minimum C1 level of English proficiency.
Tech Lead experience is necessary, including experience in software architecture and design.
Prior experience leading a technical team is essential.
Candidates should have experience developing cloud-based solutions using best security practices.
The ability to write supporting documentation is important.
A track record of managing feature requests with realistic timelines is required.
Experience working within Agile teams is necessary.
Comprehensive expertise in both frontend and backend development is required, covering the entire software development lifecycle.
Proficiency in API backend development using Python and TypeScript (NodeJS is a plus) is needed.
Frontend experience with React and VueJS (Angular is a plus) is required.
Working knowledge of the AWS stack, including ECS, SQS, and SNS, is necessary.
Experience in automating pipeline deployments and infrastructure deployments in AWS is required.
Candidates should have experience developing processes to audit and monitor conformance with security standards.
The ability to review and optimize application deployments for performance, scalability, and robustness is essential.
Experience innovating and prototyping new tools and practices as part of Remedy’s architecture offerings is required.
Database design expertise in one or more of the following: PostgreSQL, MySQL, AWS RDS is necessary.
Candidates must be able to configure CI/CD pipelines for application deployments in cloud environments (CircleCI, GitHub Action).
Experience with infrastructure deployment using IaaC (Terraform) is required.
Familiarity with additional technologies such as Docker and Celery is a plus.
