Description:

  • Whitespectre is seeking an exceptional Tech Lead Engineer to architect and build products, supporting their growth in scale and complexity.
  • The Tech Lead Engineer will work closely with senior client stakeholders, report to the CEO, engage in hands-on coding, and lead other engineers.
  • Responsibilities include shaping the technical direction of client projects, leading project teams, driving innovation in software development, and staying updated on the latest technologies.
  • The position involves working with a modern tech stack including React, Typescript, REST/GraphQL, Node.js/Next.js/Express, etc.
  • Whitespectre follows an agile 2-week sprint methodology, emphasizing collaboration between Product, UI/UX, and Engineering teams.
  • The majority of projects are greenfield applications, allowing for end-to-end ownership by delivery teams.
  • The Tech Lead Engineer role offers a high level of ownership, autonomy, and impact within the team.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational, project management, and leadership skills are required.
  • Candidates should have at least 10 years of software development experience, with a minimum of 3 years as a Technical Lead.
  • Excellent technical expertise in React, Typescript, REST/GraphQL, Node.js/Next.js/Express, etc. is essential.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software development methodologies, analytical skills, troubleshooting abilities, and problem-solving skills are necessary.
  • Advanced English proficiency in both verbal and written communication is a must.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively, multitask, prioritize tasks, and stay updated on industry trends and best practices is required.
  • Candidates should be highly motivated, eager to learn, coach others, and work full-time with a significant overlap with the core hours (11am - 7pm Central European Time).
