Description:
Tangelo is seeking an experienced Technical Leader for the Back Office Team within the Platform Department, focusing on the order management system that ensures members receive their food prescriptions.
The role involves leading all technical aspects of the Back Office domain, from planning to execution, and mentoring fellow engineers.
Responsibilities include improving the performance and maintainability of the codebase, enhancing monitoring and alerting of production software, and demonstrating sound business judgment.
The position requires excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams and time zones, and the ability to influence business and technical decisions.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with expertise in building a wide range of applications.
Strong coding skills in object-oriented programming languages are required.
A customer-first mindset is essential, ensuring the end-user is prioritized in every decision.
Experience in 0-to-1 product development, with a focus on shipping quickly and maintaining high quality standards, is necessary.
Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments and work seamlessly with cross-functional teams is required.
Preferred skills include experience with REST or GRPC APIs, deployment and monitoring of systems, working in a HIPAA-compliant environment, and familiarity with internal admin tools.
