Description:

WorkMotion is seeking a Tech Lead – ML / AI (LLM Systems & Infrastructure) to join their AI Team.
The role involves architecting and implementing scalable, secure, and production-grade AI systems.
Responsibilities include architecting LLM-powered RAG pipelines, leading the technical direction of AI/ML systems, and collaborating with backend and data teams.
The Tech Lead will implement monitoring, evaluation, and security practices for AI workflows and guide hybrid retrieval, prompt engineering, and embedding strategies.
The position also requires overseeing model integration, deployment, and scaling using Docker, FastAPI, and CI/CD, while ensuring GDPR compliance, RBAC, and audit logging in all AI processes.
Candidates must be based within 2 hours of the Central European Timezone to ensure work-life balance.

Requirements:

Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in ML/AI Engineering or MLOps.
Strong hands-on expertise with LLMs, LangChain, and vector stores (e.g., Qdrant, Pinecone) is required.
Proven experience deploying RAG or chatbot systems in production is essential.
Proficiency with FastAPI, Docker, GitHub Actions, and Python packaging is necessary.
Independent decision-making and architectural leadership skills are expected.
Fluency in English is required.
Familiarity with LLMOps tools like Langfuse, Weights & Biases, or BentoML, as well as experience with streaming inference or token cost control, is desirable but not required.
Knowledge of fine-tuning or prompt-evaluation pipelines and exposure to multi-tenant LLM platforms is also a plus.
