Description:
Tangelo is seeking an experienced Technical Leader for the Back Office Team within the Platform Department, focusing on the order management system.
The role involves overseeing processes from fulfillment to delivery, ensuring members receive their food prescriptions.
Responsibilities include leading all technical aspects of the Back Office domain, collaborating with engineers, researchers, designers, and product professionals.
The position requires improving the performance, maintainability, and operations of the Tangelo codebase through refactoring and upgrade projects.
The candidate will enhance the instrumentation, monitoring, and alerting of production software to drive operational excellence.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for working closely across teams and time zones.
The role demands sound business judgment and the ability to influence others for making excellent business and technical decisions.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 15+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with expertise in building a wide range of applications.
Strong coding skills in object-oriented programming languages are required.
A customer-first mindset is essential, ensuring the end-user is at the center of every decision.
Experience in product development with a focus on creating robust, scalable, accessible, and user-friendly solutions is necessary.
Candidates should have 0-to-1 experience, with a strong inclination toward shipping quickly, learning iteratively, and maintaining high quality.
Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments is required, with experience working seamlessly with cross-functional teams and partners.
Preferred skills include knowledge of REST or GRPC APIs, deployment, monitoring, and alerting of systems, experience in a HIPAA-compliant environment, and familiarity with internal admin tools.
