Enable is seeking a Tech Lead Platform Engineer – AI & MLOps to enhance its cloud-native platform, focusing on scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
The role involves architecting and optimizing the platform for high-performance distributed systems and enabling MLOps capabilities for AI-driven applications.
Key responsibilities include designing and optimizing a multi-tenant SaaS platform, maintaining core infrastructure components, and implementing best practices for cloud cost optimization and security.
The engineer will also architect scalable AI/ML pipelines, develop MLOps workflows, and collaborate with data scientists to streamline model lifecycle management.
Additional responsibilities include implementing Infrastructure-as-Code practices, building automated monitoring solutions, and improving CI/CD processes.
The position requires cross-functional collaboration with engineering and security teams to ensure compliance and support product innovation.
The role includes mentoring junior engineers and documenting platform engineering best practices.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in platform, DevOps, or cloud engineering, with at least 3+ years in SaaS environments.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Expertise in architecting and managing cloud-native applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure is essential.
Strong experience with Kubernetes, serverless computing, and container orchestration is necessary.
Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi) and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) is required.
Experience with distributed systems, service mesh technologies, and event-driven architectures is needed.
Hands-on experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL, vector DBs) ensuring high availability and performance is required.
A deep understanding of SaaS security principles and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001) is essential.
Strong programming and automation skills in Python, SQL, and Bash are necessary.
Familiarity with MLOps frameworks and ML model operationalization is preferred.
