The Tech Lead Platform Engineer – AI & MLOps will drive the evolution of Enable’s cloud-native platform, focusing on scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
This role involves architecting and optimizing the platform for high-performance distributed systems and enabling MLOps capabilities for AI-driven applications.
Key responsibilities include designing and optimizing a cloud-native SaaS platform, developing core infrastructure components, implementing best practices for cloud cost optimization, and enhancing API gateways.
The role also includes architecting scalable AI/ML pipelines, developing MLOps workflows, optimizing ML model inference, and collaborating with data scientists.
Additional responsibilities involve implementing Infrastructure-as-Code practices, building automated monitoring solutions, improving CI/CD processes, and establishing robust logging and metrics collection.
The position requires cross-functional collaboration with engineering and security teams, mentoring junior engineers, and defining platform engineering best practices.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in platform, DevOps, or cloud engineering, with at least 3+ years in SaaS environments.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Expertise in architecting, deploying, and managing cloud-native applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure is essential.
Strong experience with Kubernetes, serverless computing, and container orchestration is necessary.
Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi) and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) is required.
Experience in distributed systems, service mesh technologies, and event-driven architectures is needed.
Hands-on experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL, vector DBs) ensuring high availability and performance is required.
A deep understanding of SaaS security principles, identity management, and compliance frameworks is essential.
Strong programming and automation skills in Python, SQL, and Bash are necessary.
Familiarity with MLOps frameworks and ML model operationalization is preferred.
