Remote Technical Architect - IoT & Cloud Solutions

Description:

• The position is for a Technical Architect specializing in IoT and Cloud Solutions, fully remote on a European time zone.
• The mission duration is 4 months, with the possibility of renewal.
• The candidate should have 6 years of experience or more.
• The role is part of the Group’s IoT Center of Excellence, which is responsible for the design, governance, and continuous improvement of IoT solutions.
• The architect will define and evolve the target architecture for the Group’s Azure-based IoT platform and ensure architectural alignment across business units and IT stakeholders.
• Responsibilities include driving technology decisions, designing scalable and secure solutions, collaborating with internal teams and external partners, and supporting governance processes.

Requirements:

• The candidate must have proven experience in IoT architecture and cloud-native design.
• A deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including Azure IoT, Azure DevOps, and AKS, is required.
• A strong background in .NET development, API architecture, and system integration is essential.
• Experience with Power Platform, particularly Power Apps, is a plus.
• Familiarity with security standards, data flows, and high-availability cloud patterns is necessary.
• The candidate should have experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and DevOps frameworks.
• The ability to communicate architectural concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences is required.
• The candidate should have 6+ years of experience in software and system architecture, particularly in IoT and cloud projects.
• Comfort in working within complex enterprise environments involving multiple teams and technologies is essential.
• Fluency in English is required, along with strong problem-solving skills, stakeholder engagement skills, and attention to detail.
