Description:
Portfolio BI is a leading global provider of data solutions and services to the investment management community.
The company empowers sophisticated buy-side firms to take control of their portfolio and operational data.
The Technical Architect will lead the design and implementation of financial SaaS solutions.
The role requires extensive experience in Azure, web-native technologies, and middleware.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining architecture for financial SaaS solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
The architect will design and implement cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure and oversee middleware integration.
The position involves working with C#, databases (MS-SQL), and web-native technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular, and Vue.
The role also includes performance optimization, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and providing technical leadership and mentorship.
Compliance with industry regulations and security standards is a key responsibility.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a minimum of 15 years of technical design and development experience, with at least 5 years in design and architecture.
Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing SaaS solutions is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Azure services such as Azure App Services and Azure Functions is essential.
A strong understanding of web-native technologies, including JavaScript, React, Angular, HTML5, and CSS3, is necessary.
Knowledge of financial markets and investment strategies is preferred.
Experience with middleware technologies like Apache Kafka and NetMQ is required.
Familiarity with commercial third-party libraries, especially DevExtreme, is a plus.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills are essential.
Candidates should be able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
