Description:

  • Portfolio BI is a leading global provider of data solutions and services to the investment management community.
  • The company empowers sophisticated buy-side firms to take control of their portfolio and operational data.
  • The Technical Architect will lead the design and implementation of financial SaaS solutions.
  • The role requires extensive experience in Azure, web-native technologies, and middleware.
  • Responsibilities include developing and maintaining architecture for financial SaaS solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • The architect will design and implement cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure and oversee middleware integration.
  • The position involves working with C#, databases (MS-SQL), and web-native technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular, and Vue.
  • The role also includes performance optimization, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and providing technical leadership and mentorship.
  • Compliance with industry regulations and security standards is a key responsibility.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have a minimum of 15 years of technical design and development experience, with at least 5 years in design and architecture.
  • Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing SaaS solutions is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure services such as Azure App Services and Azure Functions is essential.
  • A strong understanding of web-native technologies, including JavaScript, React, Angular, HTML5, and CSS3, is necessary.
  • Knowledge of financial markets and investment strategies is preferred.
  • Experience with middleware technologies like Apache Kafka and NetMQ is required.
  • Familiarity with commercial third-party libraries, especially DevExtreme, is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills are essential.
  • Candidates should be able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
