Description:
The Technical Architect, PS (Drupal) position is a remote role based in India.
Acquia empowers brands to create impactful digital customer experiences using the Acquia Digital Experience Platform (DXP) centered around open source Drupal.
The role involves guiding and driving technical application design for Acquia customers and leading technical teams in the Drupal and web development communities.
Responsibilities include helping clients across various industries, such as government, consumer goods, pharma, gaming, and media, to leverage the power of Drupal and open source.
The Technical Architect will work on diverse engagements, including custom coding, mentoring partner and client teams, application design, and providing ongoing architectural guidance throughout development and launch.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a total of 6+ years of experience, including a minimum of 2+ years as a Technical Architect.
A deep background in building, leading, and architecting Drupal applications with at least 5+ years of experience in developing Drupal applications is required.
Proficiency in development tools such as Git, Composer, Drush, and Lando/DDev/Cloud IDEs is essential.
Experience with complex Drupal development tasks, including custom module development using the Drupal API system and hooks/events from major Drupal core systems, is necessary.
Candidates should have experience in code reviews, designing technical solutions, team management, story grooming, and estimations.
A passion for web and open source development, along with the ability to guide technical discussions and negotiate outcomes with clients and stakeholders, is important.
Strong problem-solving abilities, initiative, and the capacity to thrive under pressure are required.
The ability to contribute to development activities on delivery projects in their area of specialty is expected.
Candidates should be capable of independently researching and resolving technical problems and participating in customer communications, both in-person and virtually.
