Description:

  • Softrams, LLC is seeking a full-time technical lead to join a collaborative and agile team supporting the development of modern, usable, and responsive applications for U.S. federal government enterprise IT solutions.
  • The role involves supervisory responsibilities and requires excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • The technical lead must have extensive knowledge of implementing full-stack solutions that meet customer needs and requirements.
  • Insights from customer engagements will influence future product releases, and the candidate will be responsible for presenting solutions and recommendations to various audiences.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills are essential for interacting with customers, technical staff, business decision-makers, and executives.
  • The ideal candidate will possess robust software engineering and architectural knowledge for building AWS Cloud-based solutions.
  • Responsibilities include supervising a team of developers, analyzing complex business and engineering challenges, promoting active learning, and championing modern application development practices.
  • The technical lead will collaborate with multiple teams, design product features, and work on modernizing legacy systems to enhance user experience.
  • Qualifications include 8+ years of experience in enterprise application development, expertise in modern technical stacks, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency in agile development practices.
  • Federal requirements include U.S. citizenship, the ability to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance designation, and residency in the United States.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in building and architecting large-scale enterprise applications.
  • Experience with modern technical stacks such as Java, Docker, AWS, Node.js, AngularJS, React, Python, PostgreSQL, and Kafka.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills for managing and guiding a team of developers.
  • Proficiency in deconstructing business needs, building organized solutions, and creating product roadmaps.
  • Hands-on experience in unit testing, integration, and performance testing strategies.
  • Expertise in continuous delivery pipelines and agile development practices.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least 4 years leading agile software development life cycles.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce system designs, architecture, and process flows for complex systems.
  • Experience with AWS certifications, big data technologies, and cloud environments.
  • Proven experience in building modular API microservices, modernizing AngularJS websites, and managing container applications.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code frameworks, relational databases, NoSQL data stores, and modern build tool chains.
  • Experience with Federal IT Projects and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is a plus.
