Description:

  • Oddball is seeking a Technical Lead to work on a significant Federal program that positively impacts millions of Americans' daily lives.
  • The role involves leading a team of engineers and designers, with responsibilities for planning, executing, and directing the team.
  • Strong communication skills are essential, as the position requires working in an Agile environment and having in-depth knowledge of APIs.
  • The Technical Lead must understand the business use case of the software being developed.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in software development or web application development.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience leading multi-disciplinary teams of designers and developers is required.
  • Strong experience with Python is necessary.
  • The ability to effectively break down technical items in discussions with business users is essential.
  • Candidates must possess strong verbal and written communication skills aimed at both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • The Technical Lead should be capable of taking direction from senior leadership and translating it into actionable steps.
  • Comfort in handling multiple ongoing engagements and parallel work streams is required.
  • Applicants must be US Citizens and able to work domestically.
  • Candidates must be able to attain a low-level security clearance.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.
