Remote Technical Lead / Architect (Remote, India)

Description:

• The Technical Lead / Architect position is a remote permanent role for individuals based in India.
• The role involves leading technology teams (Software Dev, DevOps/Cloud) and collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality output for clients within specific timeframes.
• NearForm focuses on modernizing enterprises with open, creative software and cloud-native solutions using industry-leading design and technology.
• The Technical Lead will work directly with clients, translate requirements into technical briefs, and shape architectural decisions.
• Responsibilities include providing technical and line-management leadership, ensuring successful project delivery, resolving blockers, and reporting project status to clients and NearForm leadership.

Requirements:

• Experience working directly with customers and users.
• Experience managing software engineering teams.
• Deep understanding of agile ways of working, test-driven development, best practices, and design patterns.
• Proficiency in Full-stack JavaScript (Node.js and React) development.
• Knowledge of DevOps, cloud architecture, systems integration, and operational concerns.
• Familiarity with open source technologies, version control tools like GIT, and DevOps practices.
• Drive to deliver outcomes for customers and strong empathy and people skills.
