Remote Technical Lead / Architect (Remote, Ireland)

Description:

• The Technical Lead / Architect position is a remote permanent role for individuals based in Ireland.
• The role involves leading technology teams (Software Dev, DevOps/Cloud) and being hands-on to translate client project requirements into team deliverables.
• NearForm focuses on modernizing enterprises with open, creative software and building cloud-native solutions using industry-leading design and technology.
• The Technical Lead will work directly with clients on various projects, translating business and technical requirements into software applications.
• Responsibilities include providing technical and line-management leadership, ensuring successful project delivery, resolving blockers, shaping architectural decisions, and reporting project status to clients and NearForm leadership.
• The role requires a background in development, including Full-stack JavaScript, React Native, DevOps, Cloud architecture, and Systems Integration.

Requirements:

• Experience working directly with customers and users.
• Experience managing software engineering teams.
• Experience developing high-quality software.
• Deep understanding of agile ways of working, test-driven development, best practices, design patterns, and open source technologies.
• Proficiency in version control tools, especially GIT, cloud technologies, operational concerns, and DevOps practices.
• Drive to deliver outcomes for customers and strong empathy and people skills.
