Description:

  • Arbor is seeking an experienced and communicative Technical Lead to join their Engineering function.
  • The role involves guiding the team towards technical excellence, ensuring successful project delivery, and contributing to the overall strategic vision of the technology landscape.
  • Responsibilities include collaborating with other Tech Leads, leading complex feature requests, creating strategic documentation, participating in advanced testing practices, and producing efficient, scalable code.
  • The position is remote and offers a salary range of £60,000 - £70,000.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have extensive experience with PHP and Object Oriented Programming principles.
  • An advanced understanding of software engineering principles, including SOLID and DRY, is required.
  • Expertise in relational database technologies, data architecture, and data management is essential.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing APIs and services in a service-oriented environment is necessary.
  • Leadership experience is required, showcasing the ability to guide teams and drive technical excellence.
  • Good written and spoken English for effective communication and presentation is a must.
  • Bonus skills include experience with enterprise-level solutions, familiarity with Scrum methodology, cloud computing, Docker, and software best practices.
