Description:
Arbor is seeking an experienced and communicative Technical Lead to join their Engineering function.
The role involves guiding the team towards technical excellence, ensuring successful project delivery, and contributing to the overall strategic vision of the technology landscape.
Responsibilities include collaborating with other Tech Leads, leading complex feature requests, creating strategic documentation, participating in advanced testing practices, and producing efficient, scalable code.
The position is remote and offers a salary range of £60,000 - £70,000.
Requirements:
Candidates must have extensive experience with PHP and Object Oriented Programming principles.
An advanced understanding of software engineering principles, including SOLID and DRY, is required.
Expertise in relational database technologies, data architecture, and data management is essential.
Proven experience in designing and implementing APIs and services in a service-oriented environment is necessary.
Leadership experience is required, showcasing the ability to guide teams and drive technical excellence.
Good written and spoken English for effective communication and presentation is a must.
Bonus skills include experience with enterprise-level solutions, familiarity with Scrum methodology, cloud computing, Docker, and software best practices.
